Donna Lynne Champlin  

Training: Graduated with high honors from Carnegie Mellon University and studied Shakespeare and Chekhov on scholarship at Oxford University.

Theatre: Recently appeared as Cordelia in Battle Cry of Freedom here at Goodspeed-at-Chester/The Norma Terris Theatre and is “absolutely, utterly bonkers” about returning for By Jeeves. After graduating, Donna Lynn made her NYC debut at Carnegie Hall as May in Very Warm for May (John McGlinn conducting). As a Presidential Scholar in the Arts and a Princess Grace Foundation Grant recipient, she was very proud to be a soloist in a White House presentation at the Kennedy Center, and to receive a Medal of Honor from the President. Favorite regional roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Viola in Twelfth Night, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, and Fanny Squeers in Nicholas Nickleby.
