Lori Alter is delighted to be in the first Canadian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love. She began her professional stage career as Emma/Intrepid Shapiro in Jacob Two-Two Meets The Hooded Fang at Young People’s Theatre.

Other theatre experience includes Anita in West Side Story and Mona in The Right Step at Leah Posluns Theatre. Lori also performed at Canada’s Wonderland (More Solid Cold & Fantasy) and Ontario Place (Young And Alive) while attending Claude Watson High School for the Performing Arts. She then entered York University on a scholarship, majoring in theatre performance.

Her film credits include roles in Target (featured) and Sing. She portrayed three distinctive character roles in various segments of the CBC TV sitcom Hangin’ In. Lori has been a popular member of the Murray Alter Orchestra as lead vocalist. She relaxes by recording original material with her brother.
