Love Never Dies wins in Green Room Awards  
The Australian production of Love Never Dies wins in Melbourne's Green Room Awards.

This weekend, the Australian production of Love Never Dies won four Green Room Awards, Melbourne’s premier Arts Awards.

Love Never Dies, now playing in Sydney, opened in Melbourne in May 2011. Starring Ben Lewis as The Phantom and Anna O’Byrne as Christine, the production has also been filmed for movie and DVD release, amazing audiences in the USA when it was screened in movie theaters and reaching number 1 in the UK’s mid-week Music DVD chart, just days after its release on Monday 12th March.

The Green Room Awards are Melbourne’s premier performing arts awards and recognise the world-class Cabaret, Dance, Musical Theatre, Opera, Theatre and Alternative and Hybrid Performance productions that grace Melbourne’s stages each year.

Love Never Dies‘ four Green Room Awards are:

Best Design: Gabriella Tylesova (Costumes & Set)
Best Lighting: Nick Schlieper
Best Sound: Mick Potter (Tied with Peter Hylenski for Rock of Ages)
Best Musical Direction: Guy Simpson
