Marti Webb will reprise her original role as star of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s award-winning Tell Me on a Sunday at the Gielgud Theatre in the West End for five weeks only from Tuesday 13th January until Saturday 14th February. Marti Webb received critical acclaim for Tell Me on a Sunday, which was written especially for her by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black as a television special in 1979. The album reached 1# in the charts and she had a hit single with “Take That Look Off Your Face”. She subsequently recreated her role as part of the West End smash hit “Song & Dance” at the Palace Theatre in 1981.

Denise Van Outen leaves the show on 10th January at the completion of her contract.

Tell Me on a Sunday has been expanded and reworked and contains five new songs written for this new production. Tell Me on a Sunday has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black, with additional contributions by Jackie Clune.

Tell Me on a Sunday is directed by Matthew Warchus. Simon Lee is the Musical Supervisor for the show. Tell Me on a Sunday is produced by Bill Kenwright Limited.
