Denise van Outen

Denise Van Outen has further extended her run in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s award-winning Tell Me on a Sunday at the Gielgud Theatre in the West End. The show has now been extended by 20 weeks and will run until 10th January 2004.

The show, which opened on 15th April to public fervour, was originally due to play a 16-week season finishing on 26th July, and has already been extended by four weeks until 23rd August.

Tell Me on a Sunday became a best-selling album on its release in 1979 and was subsequently staged as part of Song & Dance at the Palace Theatre in 1981, where it enjoyed a record-breaking run.

Tell Me on a Sunday has been expanded and reworked and contains five new songs written for this new production.

Tell Me on a Sunday has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black, with additional contributions by Jackie Clune.

The hit album of the show, sung by Denise Van Outen, is released on Polydor/Really Useful Records. Tell Me on a Sunday is directed by Matthew Warchus. Simon Lee is the Musical Supervisor for the show.

Tell Me on a Sunday is produced by Bill Kenwright and The Really Useful Theatre Company.
