2012 sees the Stratford Shakespeare festival production of Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Des McAnuff, open on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre in March; whilst in the UK, ITV1′s search for a ‘Superstar’ will invite the British public to help choose the country’s next major rock star – giving the winner the chance to play the leading role in a new arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
