The Compagnia della Rancia Italian-language production of Cats has been announced as the leading event in the company’s 2009/2010 season. The production was recently revealed as the most seen show in Italy (data from Theatre Exchange/Giornale dello Spettacolo AGIS – 12th March 2010).

Cats returns to Rome for a second engagement at Teatro Sistina Theatre, from 14th – 25th April 2010. Last year the production’s four-week run at Teatro Sistina sold out, and the show has since enchanted over 200,000 spectators in 22 cities.

The Compagnia della Rancia production of Cats is the first time the show has been translated into Italian. The production is directed by Saverio Marconi, with associate direction and choreography by Daniel Ezralow.
