The Boys in the Photograph, a reworked version of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton’s 2000 musical The Beautiful Game, recently opened at The Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg, Canada. The show tells the story of Northern Ireland in the late 1960s through the eyes of a local football (or soccer) team.
The current production is directed by Ben Elton and the reworked score includes three brand new songs. The show is in production at The Manitoba Theatre Centre until 23rd May 2009.
