Nick Ross Orchestra

The Nick Ross Orchestra is to bring the Big Band Sound of the 1940s back to the West End in a spectacular concert at Her Majesty’s Theatre, celebrating the Glenn Miller era.

With a full line-up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, a rhythm section and top singers, The Nick Ross Orchestra will faithfully recreate the wonderful sounds of such Big Bands as those led by Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Harry James and Tommy Dorsey.

Through such numbers as “Moonlight Serenade”, “In the Mood”, “A String of Pearls”, “Begin the Beguine”, and “A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square” memories of the Blitz will no doubt be flooding back to life.

The Nick Ross Orchestra present Sounds of the Glenn Miller era takes place at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday 30 September 2012. CLICK HERE to buy tickets.
