Kelli James
Giulietta Trapani
KELLI JAMES, an Iowa farmer's daughter, began her stage career in 1975 when she left the small town of Tabor to travel extensively with the touring companies of GODSPELL, HAIR and JACQUES BREL. At the tender age of seventeen she landed the role of Columbia in the San Francisco stage version of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and by the age of twenty was already cast by director Harold Prince as Peron's Mistress in the Los Angeles Company of EVITA. Following a three year international tour with her own rock band, Ms. James returned to the theatre at the request of director Trevor Nunn. There, she would first understudy and then assume the Tony Award-winning role of Eponine in the original New York production of LES MISERABLES, earning critical acclaim and her first Broadway starring credit. As a long-time fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber's, Kelli was eager to accept a featured role in THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER IN CONCERT. She sang in the productions at the London Palladium and in major concert halls across the continental US and Canada, once again winning rave reviews. Ms. James is very pleased to return to Canada for ASPECTS OF LOVE and wishes to thank her family and friends for all of their support. As always, I love you David.
