David Grindrod founded David Grindrod Associates with Stephen Crockett in January 1998 after 20 years experience in the theatre in various roles ranging from assistant stage manager to general manager.

Theatre : West End casting includes Chicago (and UK tour), Kiss Me, Kate (2001 Evening Standard award for Best Musical), Mamma Mia!, Our House, The Full Monty, The Beautiful Game, Whistle Down the Wind, Starlight Express, Jesus Christ Superstar (and UK tours), Aspects of Love, Notre-Dame de Paris, Closer To Heaven, Saturday Night Fever, West Side Story, Spend Spend Spend (1999 Evening Standard award for Best Musical). Other credits include Sunset Boulevard (Adelphi Theatre London and UK tour), The Phantom of the Opera (Basel, Switzerland), Divorce Me Darling!, Pal Joey (Chichester Festival Theatre), Guys and Dolls (Crucible Theatre, Sheffield); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour).
