Lucy Skilbeck has worked in Australia and England.
Theatre : In England: directed The Rose and the Ring (Hen and Chickens); assistant director on The Beautiful Game (Cambridge Theatre); resident children’s director on Whistle Down the Wind (Aldwych Theatre); as artistic director of Blue Tongue Theatre Company Blue Murder, Darling Oscar, After Dinner (all at King’s Head Theatre), Wolf Lullaby (London and Paris), My Son Conor, Sweet Phoebe, Daylight Saving, A Stretch of the Imagination, The Apple and Secrets – a co-production with Nomad Dance Company (London, Sarajevo and Australia). As producer: Mr Melancholy (London and Paris); as associate director Journey’s End (King’s Head, Islington), Pterodactyl Island (Pleasance Theatre, London). Other work includes The Rose and the Ring, Perfect Shadows (King’s Head); Oklahoma! (Edinburgh).
Blue Tongue is the resident company at the Australian High Commission.
