Raza Jaffrey

Training: Recent graduate of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Before this he studied English and Drama at Manchester University.

 

Theatre: Raza Jaffrey has just made his West End debut playing the role of Sky in Mamma Mia! (Prince Edward Theatre). Other credits include Paris in Romeo & Juliet (Leicester Haymarket); Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac (Royal Theatre, Northampton and tour); Abdul in East Is East (Oldham Coliseum); Count Mushroom in The London Vertigo (Edinburgh Fringe Festival); Malcolm in Macbeth (Dancehouse Theatre, Manchester); created the role of Rajesh in the multi-award winning Fourteen Songs Two Weddings and A Funeral (Lyric Hammersmith, Birmingham Rep and tour).

 

Workshop: New writing workshops and rehearsed readings for Theatre Royal, Stratford East and Soho Theatre.

 

Television: Credits include Picking Up The Pieces (Carlton); Bruiser, EastEnders, Casualty (BBC).
