Shekhar Kapur was born in India.

Film : Directed a new adaptation of A E W Mason’s The Four Feathers; Elizabeth starring Cate Blanchett and numerous successful Bollywood films including The Bandit Queen, Mr India and Masoon; collaborated on the development of The Far Pavilions.

Awards : Five BAFTAs for Elizabeth.
