Training: Halcro comes from Aberdeenshire and studied at Aberdeen University and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama
Theatre includes: Many operas, several West End shows, national and international tours, rep productions and small-scale/pub theatre productions over the 30 years he has been in the business with a small amount of film, television and commercial work thrown in. There have been two major high points in Halcro’s career so far. The first was his very first job which was in chorus at the Edinburgh International Festival in the 1977 production of Carmen starring Placido Domingo, Teresa Berganza and Mirella Freni, with Claudio Abbado and the London Symphony Orchestra. The second was as the Prison Guard in Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Shaftesbury Theatre with Chita Rivera.
