Jackie Marks
Ensemble
Training: Jackie was born in London and trained at the Italia Conti Theatre School.
Theatre includes: Fantine in the original London cast of Les Misérables (Barbican and Palace), Nancy in Oliver! (Aldwych and Alexandra Theatre, Toronto), Factory Girl in the Les Misérables tenth anniversary concert (Royal Albert Hall). Seasons at Windsor, Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle include: Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd, first female Narrator in Great Britain in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Film and television include: Grange Hill, Crackerjack, The Tommy Cooper Series, Stars in their Eyes I and II, Ticket to Ride and most recently the film The Phantom of the Opera (Really Useful Films).
Jackie has sung vocals on many cast recordings and for the BBC’s Songs from the Shows and also had two successful seasons of her one-woman show at the Ritz and the Savoy in London.
Film includes: Kevin Spacey’s Beyond the Sea.
