John Clarke

Dance Captain/Swing

Training: John started dancing at the Tiffany Stage Academy, Clacton, and trained at Laine Theatre Arts.

Theatre includes: Grease (Dominion), Starlight Express in Germany (cover Rockies and Flat-Top) and assistant choreographer to Karen Bruce on Fame in Norway. He was an original cast member of Saturday Night Fever (London Palladium) covering Cesar, Chester and Jay/Becker. John was dance captain in the second year, before working on the first UK national tour as the resident director/ choreographer. Most recently John has been the resident choreographer on We Will Rock You (Dominion) and was part of the original creative team. He was also the associate choreographer to Arlene Phillips on the Australian, American and German productions.
