Mark's career started on the Northern Club circuit. Television appearances in Village Hall, Crown court, Emmerdale Farm and Coronation Street led to him being offered a free scholarship to the Italia Conti Stage School. He made his first West End appearance playing Vic Damone in the musical Dean. Following this he played Magaldi in Evita, before taking over the role of Che. While appearing in Evita, Mark has played in late night cabaret at Quaglino's and on TV in the Tom O'Connor Show, The Good Old Days, Night of 100 Stars and Starburst. His recordings include the cast album of Evita, Blondes and Bombshells, and a single, Soho Starship Captain.
