Robyn North
Ensemble
Training: London Studio Centre. Upon completion of her diploma in theatre dance, she graduated with distinction in musical theatre and received the Lia Williams Award. Roles played whilst training included the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Maggie in A Chorus Line and Wife in The War Plays. Robyn is originally from Lincoln where she trained at the Sandy Gray School of Dancing.
Theatre includes: She joined the London company of The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s) at the age of 19, understudying and playing the role of Christine on numerous occasions and took over as Alternate Christine for a limited period. She played the lead role of Isabel opposite Shane Ritchie in the national tour of Scrooge The Musical, and Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie on tour, as well as understudying the lead role of Millie. Robyn appeared in Musical Stages magazine’s tenth birthday celebrations opposite Bonnie Langford and Clive Rowe in 2005, and in
A-Z of Musical Theatre (Theatre Royal, Wexford) and Aspects of Dance Royal Gala 2001 (Peacock Theatre).
