Tanyel is ten years old. She has a brother, Tayfun, who is 15 and lives with her mum and dad in Plaistow, East London. She was born in England but her parents are originally from Cyprus. She has been attending the Deborah Day Stage School in East Ham since she was five. As well as singing, she also studies ballet, tap, modern, street jazz, drama and acrobatics. She loves performing and regularly competes in dance and singing festivals. Her first major role was as Annie at the Broadway Theatre, Barking, and she has just left the cast of Billy Elliot as a ballet girl. Her ambition is to continue to appear in West End shows until she is old and grey!
