Gary Bond

After training at the Central School, Gary Bond got his first important break playing Pip in Chips with Everything in London and later in New York. Since then he has starred in all the various entertainment media. Among his recent theatrical appearances are Oswald in Ghosts, Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing, Byron in The Lord Byron Show and re-created the Noel Coward roles in Tonight at 8.30 at the Fortune Theatre, London. He played Mark Smeaton in the film of Ann of the Thousand Days with Richard Burton and played the lead in Outback. On television he became a nationally known name starring as Pip in Great Expectations and also starred in the highly successful series Frontier. He recently appeared in The Duchess of Malfi for BBC television.
