Training: Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, after 12 years as a professional fire-fighter in Hertfordshire, something he still does on a part-time basis.

 

Theatre includes: Bill in Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales), Gulliver in Gulliver’s Travels (Sutton Secombe Centre), Giant in Jack and the Beanstalk and Ringmaster in Barnum (Eastbourne Devonshire Park) and Geoffrey Chaucer in Ring Road Tales (Watford Palace). Other plays include Not Loving Susan, Road, You Can’t Take It With You, The Good Doctor and As You Like It.

 

Film and television include: The Best Man and Three Months, a short film for Dutch television, and film projects for HM Revenue and Customs.

 

Other work includes: John is an accomplished close-up magician, a children’s entertainer and runs an electronic media design company.
