Judy Kuhn
most recently starred in the hit Broadway revival of She Loves Me at the Roundabout Theatre Co. Also on Broadway she appeared in Richard Nelson’s play Two Shakespearean Actors (Lincoln Center Theatre), starred in Chess (Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations), Bella in Rags (Drama Desk nomination), and was in the original cast of The Mystery of Edwin Drood (New York Shakespeare Festival). In London’s West End she starred in a stage version of Fritz Lang’s film Metropolis (Laurence Olivier Award nomination). Other theatre includes Martin Guerre directed by Mark Lamos at the Hartford Stage, Laura in The Glass Menagerie directed by Emily Mann at the McCarter Theatre, and Martha Clarke’s Endangered Species at BAM’s Next Wave Festival. Television appearances include the dramatic series Life Lessons on HBO, and In Performance at the White House on PBS. Concert and Cabaret appearances include the Russian Tea Room, The Rogers and hart Revue at Rainbow and Stars, and Chess in Concert at Carnegie Hall. Judy will be heart as the voice of the title character in the upcoming Disney animated feature Pocahontas due out Summer of ’95. She is currently working on her first solo album for Verese Sarabande Records to be released in the Spring of ’94.
