Tell Me on a Sunday
Tell Me On A Sunday facts and figures
  • Tell Me on A Sunday was originally a hit album and television special written for Marti Webb back in 1979

  • The "Tell Me On A Sunday" West End production and the subsequent UK tour featured five new songs that were not included in the original show.

  • The comedienne, Jackie Clunes, contributed extra material to update the West End production.

  • A sign of the times - in the original production "the girl" corresponded to her mother by letter. In the 2003 production she used Email.

  • Denise van Outen was chosen for the role after Andrew Lloyd Webber saw her perform Take That Look Off Your Face on the Royal Variety performance as part of the Andrew Lloyd Webber tribute.

  • Tell Me On A Sunday is in actual fact the expansion of half of "Song and Dance", another Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
