By Jeeves: The film

Directed by Alan Ayckbourn, the film version of By Jeeves was released in October 2001. It starred Martin Jarvis as Jeeves, John Scherer as Wooster and many other members of the cast of the Helen Hayes Theatre production of the show who opened on Broadway, also in 2001.

The film features thirteen songs composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Alan Ayckbourn. 

Based on the beloved P.G Wodehouse stories of Bertie Wooster and his butler Jeeves, By Jeeves! is a contemporary reworking of the 1975 musical production, entitled Jeeves.
