Kathryn Evans originally trained as a dancer at the Royal Ballet School and made her stage debut at the age of 11, at Covent Garden, in Nureyev’s The Nutcracker. She had a three year spell with the Second Generation Dance Group and with two former group members formed the close-harmony singing trio, Jingles. They performed extensively throughout Britain and Europe for the next three years. She has appeared in Sing For Your Supper on both stage and radio and as Principal Boy in pantomime, most recently taking over the role of Aladdin at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Television includes The Les Dawson Show, Mike Yarwood Show, Julie Andrews Christmas Special, A Royal Variety Performance and Pebble Mill at One. Kathryn has also appeared in the film The Apple.

Daniel Benzali

Daniel Benzali was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His work on Broadway has earned him a Drama Desk Award nomination from New York theatre critics. Leading Broadway roles have included Amshel in The Rothschilds, Shakespeare and Feste in Music Is, Clichy in King of Hearts and Bulldog Allen in Dance With Me. In London he has been a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the original Half Moon Theatre, Alie Street, where he played the Anarchist Prince Kropotkin in Ripper and Touchwood Senior in A Chaste Maid in Cheapside. He has played the title role in Ibsen’s Peer Gynt and his major Shakespearian roles have included Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Angelo in Measure for Measure, Cloten in Cymbeline, Don Armado in Love’s Labours Lost, the title role in Richard III and Shylock in The Merchant of Venice.

Jimmy Kean

Jimmy Kean played his first lead in the Edinburgh Festival production of Man of Sorrows in 13. In 1975 he was a winner on ATV’s New Faces and subsequently toured with Marti Caine in a stage version of that. He then formed a rock band and recorded an album with Headwaiter.  In 1978 Jimmy appeared in Brel Encore. He joined the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1979 and the following year played the role of Peter in the national tour.

Jackie Ekers

Jackie Ekers is a trained dancer and at the age of 13 played the role of Tessie and then took over the title role of Annie in its original production at the Victoria Palace. At 16 she played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the Derby Playhouse. She understudied Liesl in The Sound of Music at The Apollo Victoria Theatre. She also played the title role in Gigi at Winchester. Jackie has just completed three years at Guildford College of Drama and Dance on the Musical Theatre Course.

Clifton Todd

Clifton Todd, son of trumpet player Eric Todd, was born in Edinburgh. In 1962 he joined the Black & White Minstrels. He has had leading roles in the West End productions of Kismet, Maggie, The Taming of the Shrew, Fiddler on the Roof and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He has appeared in the tours of Guys and Dolls, There Goes the Bride, Jane Eyre and Sing For Your Supper. Clifton has also played roles in La Vie Parisienne, Beggars Opera and in Hong Kong in Christopher Columbus.

Maria Morgan

Maria Morgan was born in Leamington Spa and, whilst at school, appeared in concerts and with the local orchestra. One of her first professional engagements was to present the highly successful television series A Handful of Songs for Granada. During this time she made many recordings and appeared on several television rock and pop shows which culminated in her creating her own cabaret show. After this, she spent a year with the group Wall Street Crash with whom she did many concerts and shows, and was seen on television with them in Britain, Germany, France, Holland and Switzerland. Recently she has been playing Peppermint Patty for a year in the musical Snoopy.
